RadicalxChange is a global movement dedicated to reimagining the building blocks of democracy and markets in order to uphold fairness, plurality, and meaningful participation in a rapidly changing world.
Gitcoin, a platform built to support and fund open source development, is embracing and experimenting with these new mechanisms designed by the RadicalxChange community, notably with Quadratic Funding and CLR matching with Gitcoin Grants.
Due to the global COVID-19 crisis, the RadicalxChange Annual Conference will now be replaced by a 100% virtual event happening June 19th-21st, 2020. While disappointing, this gives us the unique chance to put all of our resources towards making the virtual conference fully accessible to the blockchain and RxC communities all over the globe. Ahead of this event, we’ll be hosting a 2 week virtual hackathon to incentivize building the future we want to see.
The hackathon will include a variety of bounties on RxC topics such as Data Dignity, Quadratic Voting, Quadratic Finance, SALSA, Decentralized Identity, DeFi, and more. Winning hackathon projects will get the opportunity to present their creations on the virtual conference stage. Join us for both the virtual hackathon and conference, as we convene a community of innovators, activists, artists, and scholars.
