When new technologies appear, it is in our human nature to first explore them through play. The exploratory, low stakes nature of play creates an open space protected from systemic pushback and anxiety, allowing innovation to thrive and develop. We firmly hold the belief that the toys of today will be the tools of tomorrow.
In this spirit, we would like to invite you to hack with us, explore the technology of Tezos, and build toys and games that delight, entertain, and help pave the way for blockchain becoming part of our everydays in the future.
Today, many games use blockchain technologies as a hype factor without making deep and thought through use of them… while many ‘blockchain games’ seem to relegate the idea of play, of actually being a game, to an afterthought. Let us challenge you to change this - to show us how a game can be designed around blockchain technologies and the experience of play at the same time.
Potential impact: Envisioned impact of your project
Novelty: Innovativeness of the project
Technical: Does the code work? Is it secure?
Design and UX: How is the look and feel and how intuitive is the design?
