### User Story
[comment]: # (As a , I want to so that .)
as a gas user, i want a heat map of when is the best time to deploy a contract day over day
### Why Is this Needed
[comment]: # (Describe the problem and why this task is needed. Provide description of the current state, what you would like to happen, and what actually happen)
because when i am going to do a high gas function, it'd be really nice to know how gas prices ebb and flow over the last days/weeks
[comment]: # (Feature or Bug? i.e Type: Bug)
### Current Behavior
[comment]: # (Describe what actually happened.)
No Gas heatmap on gitcoin.co/gas
### Expected Behavior
[comment]: # (Describe what you expected to happen.)
Add a gas heatmap on gitcoin.co/gas as a new tab on that form..
and pipe in some data about relative gas costs over the preceeding days / weeks. here is an open source D3 view you could use for the UI http://bl.ocks.org/oyyd/859fafc8122977a3afd6
I recommend you pipe some data into the `GasProfile` table with `sync_gas_prices` management command in order to have some data to play with. In production, this mgmt command is scheduled via a crontab.
