By now you’ve probably seen or experienced several types and formats of events on Gitcoin – from multiple sponsor events to public health hackathons, cross-chain challenges and virtual blockchain weeks.
For the first time, we’re helping co-launch the Arweave Open Web Incubator.
Starting July 1st, all the way to August 12th, Arweave will open the doors to its Open Web Incubator – a virtual program for open source projects seeking 360° development!
Over the course of 6 weeks, all participants in the Open Web Incubator will experience weekly masterclasses hosted by leading experts in their field. The masterclass topics will include: go-to-market strategies, how to pitch and demo your app to investors, how to build a great deck, and how to perfect your token model. Every webinar will target key steps in the growth of an open source project, from go-to-market strategies to investment pitching and everything in between.
After the first 3 weeks of the programme, incubator participants will be invited to apply to an investor-exclusive “Sneak Peek” session, plus a final ‘demo day’ event at the end of the programme, giving the change to pitch their work to expert investors from Andreessen Horowitz, Union Square Ventures, 1kx, and Multicoin Capital.
Projects participating in the event will receive expert-level training and support, in a fast-track program aimed at helping them reach the next level in their development. Your ideas and efforts throughout the program will also compete for a generous investment pool: $100,000 to be invested in the best projects!
Arweave is organizing and sponsoring the Open Web Incubator to reward open source innovation and the dedicated teams who are pushing the ecosystem further through their work.
