We’re very excited to announce The Ethereal Hackathon, a joint production between Gitcoin and Microsoft’s blockchain group, in advance of the Ethereal Summit.
The Ethereal Hackathon will be a virtual hackathon, running from April 15 — April 30th. Sign up here!
The difference between this hackathon and many others? On top of open ended prizes, there will be bounties which are associated with live, working products. You will be able to work with open source maintainers building the future of blockchain including Microsoft, ConsenSys Labs, MythX, and many others.
If you’re a hacker, entrepreneur, or interested community member who wants to build something (anything!) on Ethereum over a two week period, wait no more. Sign up here.
We’re anticipating 1,000+ hackers, and are excited to create spaces for youa ll to interact soon. If you’re interested in joining as a sponsor + posting prizes, reach out here.
The Ethereal Hackathon will run from April 15th — April 30th, in advance of the Ethereal Summit on May 10–11. The winners of the hackathon will be invited to join us in New York to present their winning work live in front of 600+ guests interested in building the future of the internet.
Hackathon participants will also be competing for $10,000+ in prize bounties, posted by a variety of companies, protocols, and organizations.
Microsoft, our organizing sponsor, will be posting prizes across their suite of blockchain projects. MythX — providing security analysis tools for the Ethereum ecosystem — will be posting $10,000 in bounties across their newly released products. There will be some prizes from Gitcoin as well!
We look forward to sharing more about these prizes and bounties as we get closer to the event.
