Gitcoin Grants Stack is thrilled to launch the Aave & GHO Ecosystem Advancement QF Round, a strategic funding initiative to accelerate growth, development, and innovation within the Aave and GHO ecosystems. This collaboration brings together Gitcoin’s expertise in community-driven funding and Aave Grants DAO (AGD)’s commitment to nurturing Aave initiatives. Our objective is to ignite sustained growth by rewarding current and past contributors. In partnership with AGD, we're allocating a $50,000 match pool to empower impactful projects that contribute to the evolution of the blockchain ecosystem.

Round Overview

April 23, 2024

We are pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Aave & GHO Ecosystem Advancement QF Round. Running until May 7th, this period offers builders, contributors, and community members the chance to showcase their ideas and initiatives aimed at propelling the Aave and GHO ecosystems forward.

Following the application phase, the donation period will kick off on May 14 and run through May 28. During this window, contributors can back their preferred projects, knowing that their donations will be matched from the $50,000 pool, amplifying the impact of each contribution.

Funding Source and Support

Funds for this round come from optimism.gitcoin.eth, which Gitcoin has received from Optimism as part of our Retroactive Public Goods Funding (RPGF) program. As part of our commitment to supporting partners who share our values, we are distributing these funds to top RPGF recipients like Aave Grants. We have recently teamed up with libp2p for a similar initiative and are actively seeking other partners who have been top RPGF recipients.

Together, we are excited to allocate $50,000 (with $25,000 from Gitcoin's matching pool, matched by AGD) to fuel projects that will push the Aave ecosystem forward. Grants Stack will guide AGD through the setup process and provide comprehensive community round support and general support throughout the round.
