Gitcoin Grants 24 is the latest evolution of Gitcoin’s funding program - the home of funding on Ethereum.

This round is designed to empower builders, researchers, and communities to grow their projects, get funded, and build lasting reputations in the Ethereum ecosystem.

From October 14–28, community-driven Quadratic Funding (QF) donation rounds will open across several Domains, allowing supporters to direct matching funds toward the projects that matter most.

How GG24 Works

Gitcoin Grants 24 introduces a Domain Allocator model, organizing funding around problem areas identified through ecosystem-wide sense-making.

Each Domain represents a critical challenge for Ethereum - from privacy to interoperability - and is led by domain allocators who design, manage, and evaluate their rounds independently.

Rather than one-size-fits-all funding, GG24 combines multiple mechanisms - including Quadratic Funding, Deep Funding, MACI Private Voting, Conviction Voting, Retroactive Funding, and Peer-Reviewed Hypercerts - to match each problem’s unique needs.

Donation rounds run October 14–28, with some domains continuing into November for evaluation or secondary phases.

Here’s how to participate in Quadratic Funding rounds:

1. Check Domain Eligibility
   Ensure your project aligns with domain requirements. Open-source software must have the right licenses and be Ethereum-aligned.
   
2. Create Your Project Profile
   Set up on Giveth.io with GitHub links, clear impact metrics, and transparent team info.
   
3. Apply to Your Domain Round
   Submit your application by the posted deadline. Choose your correct category (tooling, infra, interoperability, etc).
   
4. Mobilize Your Community
   Share your project across Twitter, Farcaster, and Lens. Broad support matters more than big donations - 50 people giving $2 each beats 1 giving $100.
   
5. Track and Engage During the Round
   Once the donation window opens (Oct 14–28), keep your supporters updated and active.
