Markee is a community-first digital marketing platform — a sign anyone can pay to edit that funds the internet.
Communities host editable message boards on their platforms, choosing between interchangeable pricing strategies for their board. Users pay to display content on those boards. Revenue automatically flows to the hosting community (62%) and the Markee Cooperative (38%) via transparent, immutable smart contracts powered by RevNets on Ethereum.
Every payment mints MARKEE tokens, making message buyers co-owners of the cooperative network, with a community reserve distributed to other participants of the network that collectively own that platform and its assets.
How It Works
- A community embeds a Markee board on their app or site
- Users compete to display their message based on its pricing strategies, for example:
- Fixed Price - pay a set amount each time you update the message
- Leaderboard - the highest-funded message stays featured; others are ranked below
- Payments are split automatically: 62% to the hosting community, 38% to the Markee Cooperative (which issues MARKEE tokens via RevNet)

Tokenomics
MARKEE uses a three-stage RevNet issuance model with pre-scheduled pricing, a 10% cash-out tax, and a 62-24-14 revenue split. Early message buyers get ownership most affordably, and the RevNet price floor increases automatically over time.
Why It Matters for Public Goods
Markee converts existing marketing spend — money communities are already collecting — into sustainable, recurring revenue with no grant dependency. It's a self-sustaining public goods funding primitive built with embedded cooperative ownership principles needed to grow into a cross-platform network capable of competing with the entrenched players in digital marketing.
